Canada has been taking initiatives in making deep progress in the clean energy sector. As climate change is already starting to manifest and large deterioration can be observed in the environment, the sense of urgency to develop such technologies that help nature and economy have been needed now.

In just a decade, Canada has forecasted that over half a million Canadians will have jobs in the clean energy sector. Currently, the number of employees in related industries is around 300,000. These industries involve building electric vehicles, producing fuel from garbage, and installation of energy-efficient solutions, to name a few.

If there will be hurdles in the path, especially the “backward” mindset, then there is a high possibility that the efforts made will be sidetracked for a long time. Aside from the goal of making changes, Canada’s reliance on fossil fuels will be drastically decreased and the jobs lost can be transitioned to the clean energy sector.
